Planning your journey to Bhutan is simpler than it may seem. From visa arrangements to travel essentials, everything is carefully structured to ensure a smooth and worry-free experience.

We’ve outlined the key information you need to prepare with confidence—so when you arrive, you can focus less on logistics and more on the experience itself.

Visa & Entry

All international travelers (except Indian, Bangladeshi, and Maldivian nationals) require a visa. We arrange this for you in advance—just provide a valid passport copy and travel details.

Bhutan follows a “High Value, Low Impact” tourism policy. A fee of USD 100 per person per night helps support conservation, culture, and local communities.

  • Spring (Mar–May): Blooming landscapes, pleasant weather
  • Autumn (Sep–Nov): Clear skies, festival season
  • Winter & Summer: Fewer crowds, quieter experiences

Flights arrive at Paro International Airport from cities like Bangkok, Delhi, and Kathmandu. Due to limited flights, early booking is recommended.

All trips are pre-planned and guided, with accommodation, transport, and logistics arranged in advance—ensuring a smooth and worry-free journey.

Bhutan is served by two national carriers: Drukair and Tashi Air, both operating flights to Paro International Airport from key regional hubs such as Bangkok, Delhi, Kathmandu, and Singapore.

Visa processing is included as part of your tour package, with no additional service charge.

All international travellers (except Indian, Bangladeshi, and Maldivian nationals) are required to obtain a visa prior to arrival. As a licensed Bhutanese tour operator, we handle the entire process on your behalf.

To process your visa, you will need:

  • A valid passport (minimum 6 months validity)
  • A recent passport-size photograph
  • Completed visa application details (we assist you)
  • A confirmed travel itinerary
  • Visa Application Fee: USD 40 (one-time, non-refundable)
  • Sustainable Development Fee (SDF): USD 100 per person per night

The SDF supports Bhutan’s sustainable tourism model, contributing to environmental conservation, as well as free healthcare and education.

Tourist visas are typically issued for the duration of your itinerary, with a maximum stay of up to 90 days depending on your travel plan and nationality.
