From the dramatic cliffside monastery of Taktsang Monastery to the tranquil beauty of Jimilang Tsho Lake, each day reveals a different layer of Bhutan’s spiritual and natural heritage. Carefully curated for discerning travellers, the journey balances trekking, comfort, and authentic encounters, supported by an experienced guide team and dedicated trekking crew.

Day 01: Arrival in Paro (2,200m)
Arrive at Paro International Airport, where your guide will receive you. After hotel check-in, explore key landmarks including the National Museum of Bhutan and the impressive Paro Rinpung Dzong.
Enjoy a gentle acclimatization walk through Paro town followed by a welcome dinner.

Day 02: Tiger’s Nest Hike & Cultural Exploration
Hiking Time: 4–5 hours
Begin your journey with a hike to Taktsang Monastery, perched dramatically on a cliffside. The trail winds through pine forests adorned with prayer flags, offering spectacular views along the way.
After the hike, visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest and most sacred temples.

Day 03: Paro to Jele Dzong (3,480m) – Trek Begins
Trek Duration: 5–6 hours
Drive to the trek starting point and begin your ascent through blue pine forests. The trail gradually climbs, opening up to sweeping views of the Paro Valley.
Camp near Jele Dzong, a remote monastery overlooking the valley.

Day 04: Jele Dzong to Tsokam (3,800m)
Trek Duration: 4–5 hours
Climb gradually through alpine forests of fir and rhododendron. The trail transitions onto ridgelines with expansive mountain views.
Along the way, encounter yak herders and gain insight into Bhutan’s highland lifestyle.
Overnight: Camp

Day 05: Tsokam to Jimilang Tsho (3,870m)
Trek Duration: 4–5 hours
Follow scenic ridges before descending to the stunning Jimilang Tsho Lake, known for its crystal-clear waters and serene setting.
Camp beside the lake, surrounded by pristine Himalayan wilderness.
Overnight: Camp
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 06: Jimilang Tsho to Labana (4,130m)
Trek Duration: 5–6 hours
Trek through dwarf rhododendron forests and pass remote alpine lakes. Visit yak herder camps and experience the rhythms of nomadic life in Bhutan’s highlands.
This is one of the highest points of the trek, offering spectacular Himalayan panoramas.

Day 07: Labana to Phajoding to Thimphu (2,350m)
Trek Duration: 6–7 hours
Cross a high pass with panoramic views of the Himalayan range. On clear days, distant snow-capped peaks are visible.
Descend through forest trails to Phajoding Monastery before continuing to Thimphu, where your vehicle awaits.
Overnight: Thimphu
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 08: Thimphu to Punakha (1,300m)
Drive over Dochula Pass, offering spectacular mountain views on clear days. Visit Buddha Dordenma and explore key cultural sites in Thimphu.
Continue to Punakha and visit Chimi Lhakhang, known as the fertility temple.
Overnight: Punakha

Day 09: Punakha to Paro
Hike through rice fields to Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten, a beautiful hilltop temple offering scenic valley views.
Visit the majestic Punakha Dzong before driving back to Paro.
Overnight: Paro

Day 10: Departure
Transfer to Paro International Airport for your onward journey.
